A Fisherman's Paradise

Come and join us for the fishing adventure of a lifetime as your
hosts Mike and Debbie Chaussee welcome you to Aleknagik Island
Lodge. Our Lodge is located on a private five acre island in the
Wood River-Tikchik region of Bristol Bay. Using our jet boats we
are able to fish the numerous rivers and streams of the Wood River
Drainage. This system supports large populations of all five species of
Pacific Salmon, along with trophy Rainbow Trout, large Arctic Char, Dolly
Varden, Greyling
and Northern Pike. In addition, in June and July we fish the famed
Nushagak River for Kings. This river boasts the largest run of King
Salmon in Alaska, with annual returns of up to 220,000 King Salmon.
We limit the number of guests at the lodge to 10 per week. This insures each
guest that instead of being one of the crowd, you will be one of the
family.
So come and let Mike and Debbie and their staff of friendly, helpful guides
show you what fishing in Alaska is meant to be. |
